Women of Faith

I forgot to blog about WOF! I went with a group of gals to the Pepsi Center in Denver 2 weekends ago to the WOF conference! It was amazing and I met some great new friends. Loved all the speakers, but I'm pretty sure God put Sheila Walsh there just for me! You may have heard of her from the 700club, but she's got a great book out called Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God... check it out! Also had a great guy speaker Marcus Buckingham, check him out too...

Have you heard of MaryMary - I love them, so fun.

And, you can't beat a little Natalie Grant mixed in! I've never seen someone make singing look so easy even pregnant and at 5000 ft!

Labor Day Vacation Weekend

We had a great time in Texas over Labor Day weekend. We loved staying with my grandma Gram and getting to spend time with her. We spent Saturday up on Lake Livingston at my parents condo celebrating all the recent birthdays in the family.

Pinata!

... now I know Tash has this hat... Steph and I hit the mall with her baby and when we left it was torrential outside so I ran out to retrieve her swagger wagon! Ah yes, this is the TX I love!

Birthday Treat

My birthday fell on our first small group meeting night... but my honey brought cupcakes and they even had a "special" hat for me... yay...

Fun Weekend

I would say we had fun last weekend, but I haven't been blogging...so more like we had fun a few weekends ago! We hit up the dinosauer museum and ice cream shop in Woodland Park on Saturday... I must say it was pretty good. The had a lot of carnivores and a lot of super sized sea life.

Then, Sunday we hopped over the highway and up the road about five miles to hike Herman Trail. It's right inside Pikes National Forest and has a nice easy path to hike with the kids that leads to a great big rock formation. So, Emily and I decided to try to be like cousin Tashia and take some FAB photos... if you know Tash, you know she never looks rough no matter how hard she might be roughin' it! We tried to look as posed and beautiful as she does on her hikes, but I'm pretty sure Emily's the only one with that gene... come to think of it, they must be blood relatives somehow judging by the pictures. Although I don't think I've seen Tash hike in ruffle skirt yet....or carrying bugs in water bottle either. :)
