THE Vegetable Garden... yummy.

Well, I must say, I could post much more fabulous photos of my fabulous garden, but then that might be a little on the bragging side! :) And really, it's only so great because Brian built me some killer boxes and let me put some good organic soil in it.... and we had a crew come in and do the rockish stuff around the boxes so I don't have to get my shoes all dirty and muddy working in the area.... soooo.... I have 3 boxes and am growing cucumbers, tomatos, bell peppers, jalepeno peppers, zuchinni, squash, strawberries, and watermelon... serveral varieties tomatos and peppers and cucumbers... If you notice there's netting over the back boxes due to a tiny pest problem we had (read: I hate birds.)... I even gave B free reign to go get a bb gun and take 'em out! shhh... don't tell ;) Our batch of watermelon should be ready in about a week or two... and we have more tomatos than we know what to do with... I think Emily might run a little vegetable stand one weekend! The pictures below are from about 2-3 weeks ago so it has all grown in again and needs some maintenance to look all pretty again, but mostly still looks like this.
