So, here we are in the beautiful Cayman Islands! Waiting for Hurrican Paloma...boooo. We tried to catch a flight out this morning, but it was cancelled so we have returned to our hotel to .... HUNKER DOWN! (No, no one here uses that phrase... thank goodness!) I will try to post each day since there may be no cell service. Don't worry, we have yogurt and combos!! Seriously though, the hotel has made provisions and all will be fine. Our water will be shut off soon and electricity likely by this evening... Brian has already taken a Hurricane bath in the ocean and hopes to get one more in this afternoon... I'm taking video so we can see his Heraldo Rivera reporting when we get back!

This is a crazy vacation outcome. It's not fair that people who live through hurricane ike (with trees on their houses) have to fight hurricanes while they vacation. I just checked the storm track and am keeping you in my prayers. can't wait to hear more about your adventure.
If you're looking for more adventure in your life, you can always watch our kids for a couple of hours - there's really no need to go chasing hurricanes!
Combo's? what other provisions are there really?
also, you didn't really 'survive' hurricane Ike, you escaped it. I think Paloma was payback ;) We have been praying for you all weekend!
